2016年12月27日,“旭宇艺术馆”开馆仪式暨旭宇书法艺术研讨会在河北大学新校区图书馆隆重举行。省市有关领导、书法界的学者专家数百人应邀出席了活动,开馆仪式由河北大学副校长杨学新主持,中国书协名誉主席沈鹏为艺术馆题名。开馆仪式上,河北省委宣传部文艺处副处长袁桂华宣读省委宣传部贺信,对河北大学“旭宇艺术馆”
December 27, 2016, “Asahi Art Museum ” opening ceremony and Asahi calligraphy art seminar held in the new campus of Hebei University Library. Hundreds of scholars and experts from provincial and municipal leaders and calligraphy circles were invited to attend the event. The opening ceremony was presided over by Yang Xuexin, vice chancellor of Hebei University, and Shen Peng, honorary chairman of China Association for Calligraphy, named the museum. At the opening ceremony, Yuan Guihua, deputy director of the Literature and Art Department of the Propaganda Department of Hebei Provincial Party Committee, read the congratulatory message from the Propaganda Department of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee on Hebei University’s “Xu Yu Art Museum”
