Sarcopenia and liver transplantation (LT)Sarcopenia is a syndrome characterised by progressive and generalized loss of skeletal muscle mass (SMM) and strength, responsible of physical disability, poor quality of life and death (1). Easte and Weste Sarcopenia working groups agree on the need of both low SMM and low muscle function, for the diagnosis of sarcopenia (2).
