The genetic toxicity of fluoride has drawn more and more attention, but at present it is mostly confined to cellular and chromosomal levels. Telomeres are currently thought to be the “circadian clock” of mitosis, and telomerase is a major factor affecting telomere length, with enhanced activity in malignant cells. We use more advanced qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the molecular level of sodium fluoride (NaF) on telomerase changes
