在现代管理学说的丛林中,出现了以美国管理学家赫伯特·西蒙教授(1916)为代表的决策理论学派。他曾提出,也许最好把“决策当作管理工作的同义词”,强调管理就是决策,决策就是管理。西蒙认为,决策程序就是全部的管理过程。由于他对经济组织内的决策程序进行了开创性研究,以及西蒙的理论大部分是现代企业经济学和管理研究的基础,瑞典皇家科学院授予他1978年度诺贝尔经济学奖金。80年代他也被我国复旦大学和天津大学聘为名誉教授。
In the jungle of modern management theory, the school of decision theory represented by the American management scientist Professor Herbert Simon (1916) emerged. He once suggested that it might be best to use “decision making as a synonym for management work”, emphasizing that management is decision-making and decision-making is management. Simon believes that the decision-making process is the entire management process. Because of his groundbreaking research on the decision-making process within the economic organization, and Simon’s theory is mostly based on modern enterprise economics and management research, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded him the 1978 annual Nobel economics prize. In the 1980s he was also appointed as an honorary professor by Fudan University and Tianjin University.
