逆向开关电源(Flyback Switch-mode Power Supplies,SMPS)由于其重量轻和成本低而被广泛应用于中、低功率的外部电源适配器上。随着对笔记本、平板电脑和小型设备上使用的适配器的要求不断增加,由物理尺寸原因而引起的效率和功率密度的限制可以通过逆向拓扑来克服。尺寸限制中的一个主要问题是直流链路电容器,也称为大电容器,它的总体积占了适配器的很大一部分,其中主要损耗是功率耗散,它的寿命也主要决定了适配器的寿命。本文介绍了一个新的解决方案,以减少大电容体积和功率损耗,该方案的另外一个优点是:适配器的功率因数也会有所提高,与变换器前端相关的传导损耗也能够明显的减少。
Flyback Switch-mode Power Supplies (SMPS) are widely used in medium- and low-power external power adapters because of their light weight and low cost. As requirements for adapters used in notebooks, tablets, and small devices continue to increase, limitations on efficiency and power density due to physical size can be overcome by reverse topology. A major problem in size limitations is the DC link capacitor, also known as a large capacitor, which takes up a large part of the total volume of the adapter, where the main loss is the power dissipation and its lifetime predominantly determines the lifetime of the adapter. This article describes a new solution to reduce bulk capacitance and power dissipation. Another advantage of this solution is that the power factor of the adapter is also increased, and the conduction loss associated with the front end of the converter can be significantly reduced.
