六十多年前,在革命圣地延安,毛泽东在那次座谈会上讲话的发表,指导了一大批革命的艺术家在那个艰苦的斗争年代成长起来。建国后,这批艺术家又以新的热情投身到社会主义建设时期的艺术创作中,他们的成就书写了中国社会主义美术史的光辉篇章。王琦作为延安时期成长起来的艺术家,在他六十多年的艺术生涯中,兼画家、理论家、教授、美术活动家等多重角色于一身,已成为当代中国美术的中坚人物之一。 书法,作为中华民族艺术的独特种类,其渊源之深长,恐怕是当今大多重要的美术种类难以企及的。在中国这个书法的国度里,尽管毛笔这个与中国文人有着深厚情缘的书写工具已基本被其它书写工具所取代,但是,书法,作为一门艺术,却仍然让毛笔鲜活地生长在一代一代钟情于汉字书写艺术的人们手中。王家新作为年轻而有成就的书法家,他的作品不仅在证明着中国汉字的独特魅力,也在证明着汉字的书写艺术——书法生命的恒久不衰,预示着这门艺术将不断被传承下去。 对于年轻一代来说,余任天和魏传义是生长于不同年代,并有着不同经历的老一代艺术家。他们各自的艺术思想和成就也许产生了不同影响,但在他们不同的艺术道路上,我们却似乎可以看到一个共同的真理,即民族艺术的永恒勉力。主持人/赵权利
