Toshiba Corporation announced that it has developed a SP1OT RF antenna switch with MIPI ~ RFFE interface, which has the lowest insertion loss in the smartphone market and the smallest size in the industry. The product will be delivered from now on. The new product utilizes “TaRF5” - a new generation of TarfSOI ™ (Toshiba Advanced RF SOI) technology built on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology. The new samples fabricated with the TaRF5 process have a 25% improvement in insertion loss (f = 2.7 GHz) and reduced size compared to those fabricated with the TaRF3 process
