随着改革、开放的不断深入,我国在经济科技等各个领域与国外的交往和合作日益频繁。对金融工作者来说,英语作为一种交际工具,越来越显示出其重要性。培养现代银行家的金融院校,如何提高英语教学质量,是我们这些英语教员面临的一项艰巨任务。 国家教委颁发的《大学英语教学大纲》,为提高英语教学质量,确定了目标,指明了方向,但金融院校如何根据自己的特点,全面地、科学地执行大纲,以期达到国家教委既定的目标,培养出适合我国社会主义现代化建设所需要的金融专业人才,我想就此问题谈谈自己的看法。
With the deepening of reform and opening up, China’s exchanges and cooperation with foreign countries in the fields of economy, science and technology have become increasingly frequent. For financial workers, English is more and more important as a communication tool. To cultivate modern bankers’ financial institutions, how to improve the quality of English teaching is an arduous task for these English teachers. The Outline of Syllabus for College English issued by the State Education Commission has set the goal and pointed out the direction to improve the quality of English teaching. However, according to its own characteristics, financial institutions should implement the Syllabus comprehensively and scientifically in order to reach the goal set by the State Education Commission , Cultivate the financial professionals that are suitable for the socialist modernization in our country and I’d like to talk about my own views on this issue.
