全国省、区、市统计局长会议于2月11日到15日在厦门市召开。会议的主要议题是研究统计工作如何贯彻落实党的十四大精神,总结十四年统计工作经验,进一步解放思想,加快统计改革和现代化建设步伐,更好地发挥统计整体功能,为发展社会主义市场经济做出新的贡献。国家统计局局长张塞主持了会议,副局长郑家亨、于广沛出席了会议,参加会议的有各省、区、市和计划单列市统计局局长。张塞局长和郑家亨副局长在会上作了重要讲话。
The meeting of the chief provincial, district and city statistics chiefs was held in Xiamen City from February 11 to February 15. The main topics for the conference are to study how the statistics work has implemented the spirit of the 14th CPC National Congress, summed up 14 years of statistical work experience, further emancipated the mind, accelerated the pace of statistical reform and modernization, gave better play to its overall statistical function, Market economy to make new contributions. Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, Chase presided over the meeting, and Deputy Director Zheng Jiaheng attended the meeting at Guangpei. Attending the meeting were the chiefs of statistics bureaux of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities as well as cities specifically designated in the state plan. Director Zhang and Deputy Commissioner Andrew Cheng made important speeches at the meeting.
