长期以来,我们一直处在一个虚假的结构性误区之中。那就是文学创作与文学批评的共同繁荣的虚幻性假象之中。无可否认,新时期以来,尤其是近十年以来,中国的文学创作有了长足的发展(仅长篇小说一项1997和1998两年就超过了千部,这还不包括非正规出版物),批评文章就更是不可计数。但另一方面来自读者和研究者的声音却是:能够对读者和研究者产生意义的批评文章越来越少。这一方面标志着,文学批评越来越学术化、专业化和个人化;另一方面,似乎也掩盖了批评家的另一种倾向。
