黑龙江垦区最北部的农场锦河农场,在日伪时期,曾为虎狼之窝。日本侵略者为了达到防御苏联红军进攻、长期占领中国的目的,将该地视为战略要地,驻扎重兵,主要分布在现场部(原神武屯)和10队(原山神府)一带。现场部距俄边境14公里,在“九·一八”事变前名为翁湖沟,当时只有十几户居民。日本关东军侵占后,驻扎了大量的部队。
