近些年来,不少法学期刊都附有篇目的英译,在法学界英语素养差(与科技界、经济学界比较而言)的客观情况下,这确实是一项艰巨的任务。当然,有成绩也有问题——抽样调查的结果表明:其中重大错误也不少。篇目英译的错误可粗略归纳为两类:基础语言方面的错误和法学学科上的错误。第一类,语言错误五花八门、应有尽有,且多属常识性的,属不该有的那种错误。其实例很多,限于篇幅,举其一例
In recent years, many legal journals have English translations of their titles, which is indeed a daunting task under the objective circumstances of poor English literacy in the legal science community (compared with science and technology and economics). Of course, there are problems with grades. The results of the sample survey show that there are not many major mistakes. The mistakes in the English translation of the essay can be roughly summarized into two categories: mistakes in basic language and mistakes in legal science.
