This article reviews and analyzes the trends of maternal mortality in Fujian Province in the past 7 years, discusses the factors that affect death, identifies the main factors, and formulates intervention strategies. l Materials and Methods We collected information on maternal and child health information from 1991 to 1997 in our province and analyzed live births, maternal system management rates, and hospital delivery rates. Prepare a report on maternal deaths over the past seven years, analyze the causes of death, priority, and the influencing factors of death.
