近一年多来,“美元化”一词经常被人们提及,本刊去年第16期刊登了“拉美文元化构想能实现吗”一文,对拉美地区的美元化状况给予了轮廓性的述评。今年4月1日,厄瓜多尔政府顶着国内民众的反对,实施经济美元化,美元与该国货币苏克雷同时在市场上流通和使用。有专家称,一些国家的美元化行动很可能构成美洲及其他经济体大规模走向美元化的第一步。看来,关于美元化问题,我们还需要进一步认识。
In the past year or so, the term “dollarization” has often been mentioned. The 16th issue of this year’s magazine published “What can be achieved by the concept of Latinization in Latin America ?,” providing a profile of the dollarization in Latin America Commentary. April 1 this year, the Ecuadorian government against the domestic opposition, the implementation of the economic dollarization, the dollar and the currency Sucre simultaneous circulation and use in the market. Some experts said the dollarization actions of some countries are likely to constitute the first step in the large-scale U.S. and other economies toward dollarization. It seems that we still need to know more about dollarization.
