王凤煤矿前进采煤队解放思想、大胆革新,坚持在倾角38—45°,煤厚1.2米的薄煤层中使用MLQ—64型采煤机采煤,取得平均月产21133吨,最高月产25446吨的较好成绩,比同样条件下使用炮采时的月产量提高两倍多,工作面效率达到5.922吨/工,比炮采提高32.7％;坑木耗13.9米~3/万吨,火药耗378公斤/万吨,雷管耗765个/万吨,比炮采分别降低18.4％、92.4％和88.4％。
