通过分析洞庭湖区杨树科研、生产发展现状及存在的问题，提出了进一步发展杨树的战略对策：组建杨树产业集团；建立短周期工业用材定向培育基地；推广优良无性系，建立杨树基因库；加强病虫害综合防治研究；加强杨树综合加工利用的研究与开发。
By analyzing the status quo and existing problems of poplar scientific research, production and development in Dongting Lake area, the paper puts forward the strategic measures to further poplar development: establishing poplar industry group; setting up short-cycle oriented base of industrial timber; popularizing excellent clones and establishing poplar gene Library; strengthen pest and disease control research; strengthen poplar comprehensive processing and utilization of research and development.
