地理学是研究地理环境且实践性很强的科学,人类生活的地理环境本身就是地理“实验室”。地理课程不少内容都可以或者应该以地理实验的形式进行,这是地理教学特点的体现。开展地理实验教学是实施素质教育的必然要求。素质教育强调学校要改变教育观念,改革学习培养方式,重视培养学生收集处理信息的能力、获取新知识的能力、分析和解决问题的能力等。地理实验教学在能力培养中,起着理论教学不可替代的作用。
Geography is a science that studies the geographical environment and is very practical. The geographical environment of human life itself is geography “laboratory ”. A lot of geography courses can or should be carried out in the form of geographical experiments, which is the embodiment of geography teaching. Carrying out geography experiment teaching is the necessary requirement of implementing quality education. Quality education emphasizes that schools should change their educational concepts, reform their learning and training methods, pay attention to cultivating their ability to collect and process information, acquire new knowledge and analyze and solve problems. Geography experiment teaching plays an irreplaceable role in theory teaching in ability cultivation.
