我区西部山区,属于太行山的北部,包括两个山区县和六个半山区县的大部,人口约165.2万,面积1704.88万亩,占全区总面积的51.4%。其中有林地313.8万亩,宜林荒山550万亩,耕地184.06万亩。长期以来,由于森林遭受破坏,植被稀少,土松坡陡,暴雨集中,水土流失十分严重。特别是低山丘陵和中山阳坡,土层更薄,植被更少,基本上是岩石裸露,童山秃岭,绿化难度很大。在这些地方造林,如不采取一些有效措施,下些硬功夫,是很难成功的。根据我区群众多年的实践和外地经验,对低山丘陵和干旱阳坡造林的技术问题提出以下几点意见和同志们探讨。
The western mountainous area in our area belongs to the northern part of Taihang Mountain and includes most of the two mountainous counties and six and a half mountainous counties with a population of about 1,652,000 and an area of 17,048,800 hectares, accounting for 51.4% of the total area of the entire district. Among them, there are 3.138 million mu of forest land, 5.5 million mu of barren hills and 1.846 million mu of cultivated land. For a long time, soil erosion has been very serious due to the destruction of forests, scarce vegetation, steep pine slopes and heavy rainstorms. Especially the hilly hills and Zhongshan Yangsan, thinner soil, less vegetation, the rock is bare, Tongling bald Ridge, green is very difficult. In afforestation in these places, it will be very hard to succeed without some effective measures. Based on many years’ practice and field experience of our region’s masses, the following opinions and comrades have been put forward on the technical issues of afforestation on the low hills and dry sunny slopes.
