豫东平原主要指河南省京广铁路以东,淮河干流以北的地区,面积约6.77万平方公里,占河南省面积的40％,为本省最重要的粮棉油产区。区内土地利用差异性很大,需要研究影响本区土地利用的条件和土地利用的特点,探索合理利用土地资源的方向和途径,以便因地制宜地安排农林牧副渔生产。
The Yudong Plain mainly refers to the area to the east of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and to the north of the Huaihe River, covering an area of about 67,700 km2, accounting for 40% of the area of Henan Province. It is the most important grain and oil-producing area in the province. The land use in this area is very different. It is necessary to study the conditions that affect land use and the characteristics of land use in this area, and explore the directions and ways to make rational use of land resources in order to arrange for the production of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in accordance with local conditions.
