典故是比较典型的文化现象,其作为某民族文化的历史沉淀,是沉淀的文化财富,其在面对国际化文化交融的时候,需要遵循异域文化原则,依照特定翻译技巧来处理,才能够保证翻译的有效性。文章首先对于英美文学中典故的特点进行分析,指出在应对此类型翻译内容的时候需要考量多方面的文化差异性,由此去探讨英美文学中典故的英汉翻译技巧,以供参考。
