2月20日,NEC 公司在北京推出了具有银色外壳的新的产品线——Versa Aptitude 系列笔记本电脑。它定位于商用 Versa Note VXi 与高端多媒体应用电脑Versa Note RXi 之间,主要针对那些需要经常在工作中应用多媒体技术的专业/商业人员。Versa Aptitude 系列笔记本电脑采用了全内置设计,体积为308×262×39.5毫米,重量为3.3公斤。此系列产品中的不同款式分别采用了13.1英寸或者14.1英寸的 TFT 显示屏,移动版英特尔赛扬700至奔腾Ⅲ800处理器,64/128MB 内存可扩为256MB,10/20GB 硬盘,足以满足目前的主流办公需要。不过,Versa Aptitude 系列产品最大的特点在于它加强了笔记本在多媒体技术方面的不足。除了在通常笔记本电脑上常见的各种音频/视频接口,此产品还提供了 IEEE1394接口,可以更快地输入/输出来处理高数
