Cancerous pleural effusion is one of the late complications of lung cancer, breast cancer, mediastinal tumor and other malignant tumors. Thoracic puncture drainage is a common treatment principle. We replaced the traditional thoracentesis with a central venous catheter. The method is simple and satisfactory.
