在有色冶炼厂中的烟道气及一些废气中含有二氧化硫,这样的气体一般都用来制造硫酸。但这些气体中都含有汞,如某冶炼厂,其烧结机烟气含汞为20~40毫克/米~3;其硫酸中含汞为100~200毫克/升,有的高达300毫克/升,这种硫酸不能用来制药、制造化肥及其它化工产品。所以含汞的二氧化硫烟气必须事先除汞。“碘络合法除去含二氧化硫烟气中的汞”是我院提出的一项新工艺,已于八一年在某厂投产,每月可从烟气中回收二吨金属汞。该法是用碘化钾吸收汞,将含汞的二氧化硫气体,通过一个用碘化钾淋洗的吸收塔,汞被碘化钾溶液吸收形成四碘化汞钾络合物,而二氧化硫几乎不损失,不影响制酸。除汞效果
