On October 31, 2016, the United States President Obama’s Advisory Council set up a semiconductor working group, which may give advice early next year. Among them, the US Semiconductor Industry Alliance (SIA), along with several industry research companies, are proposing ideas for maintaining a strong development of the US semiconductor industry.
