罗杰弗莱作为形式主义美学理论的代表之一,他的形式主义观构成了现代美学史中的重要部分。他对后印象派画作和塞尚作品的研究分析,对于他之后的美学思想、艺术批评和他形式主义理论的完善与发展都具有重要作用。本文对罗杰弗莱的形式主义观的发展完善进行了简要的梳理,探求其的意义与价值。
As one of the representatives of formalist aesthetics theory, Roger Frye formed the important part in the history of modern aesthetics. His research on Post-Impressionist paintings and Cezanne’s works plays an important role in the perfection and development of his later aesthetic thoughts, artistic criticisms and his formalist theories. This article briefly reviews the development and perfection of Roger Frye’s formalism and explores its significance and value.
