Dr. MA Shao-qun (1903-1992), a native of Hejian County, Hebei Province, loved reading medical books in his spare time, and thus knew about moxibustion. In 1934, he let warm-tube moxibustion by correspondence teaching from the Oriental Acupuncture Agency in Ningbo City,Zhejiang Province.
