“知识分子图书馆”是中国社会科学出版社文学编辑室组织策划的一套大型译介西方学术著作的丛书,目前拟定的书目有30本左右,已出版9本,另还有10余本正在翻译过程中。这套书主要有几个特点:(一)主要偏重于人文科学,尤其是批评理论。在西方,批评理论已成为一门显学,它大有取代传统上的哲学学科之势,它已经渗透到了其他人文科学的学科之中,因此,系列地翻译一套批评理论丛书,不仅仅对文学界,也对整个思想界都有启发和推动作用。(二)这套书主要采用的是作者自选集的方式。由编委会成员直接同国外的一些最重要的理论家联系,请他们自己选编一个论文集在中国出版。这个论文集大致代表了作者几十年学术生涯中的精粹,既可以让人们了解到他的思想全貌,也能让人了解到其思想核心,而且,由作者自己选编无疑更具有权威性。
The Library of Intellectuals is a series of large-scale books on the translation of Western academic works planned by the Editorial Office of China Social Sciences Press. It can not only make people understand the whole picture of his thoughts, but also make people understand the core of his thoughts. And it is doubtlessly more authoritative by his own selection.
