(一) 王竹泉先生字云卿,1891年4月生于河北省交河县。先生早年在家乡念私塾,,15岁即离开家乡,入河间中学学习,1911年毕业。1912年考入天津高等工业学校机械科。1913年考入北京工商部地质研究所学习,1916年以优异的成绩毕业。王竹泉先生在青年时代,表现了敢于探索地球奥秘的顽强精神。还是在北京地质调查所学习期间,就开始了野外实际考查,毕业后,留所工作。刚踏上工作岗位的王竹泉先生,以他对地质科学强烈的事业心和怀着探矿强国的美好的宏愿,先后到华北、华东、华南等地区进行过大量的煤田和其他矿产的地质研究
(A) Mr. Wang Zhuanquan Word Yunqing, born in April 1891 in Jiaohe County, Hebei Province. Early years in his hometown to read private school, 15-year-old left his hometown, into the Hejian secondary school, graduating in 1911. In 1912 admitted to Tianjin Higher Industrial Machinery Department. In 1913 admitted to the Beijing Institute of Geology Institute of Commerce, 1916 graduated with honors. In his youth, Mr. Wang Zhuquan demonstrated his tenacious spirit of exploring the mysteries of the earth. Or in the Beijing Institute of Geological Survey period, began the actual field test, after graduation, stay in work. Wang Zhuanquan, who just started his career, has conducted a large number of geological research on coalfields and other minerals in North China, East China and South China after his strong commitment to geosciences and the great ambition of the prospecting powers.
