参照政府艺术品市场调查报告与中国各大艺术品拍卖公司的艺术品成交数据报告,可以发现中国的艺术市场发展势头强劲,虽然偶有受全球经济与政府政策调控出现低迷的时段,但总体的发展呈现上升趋势。如今中国艺术市场虽未形成完整意义上的艺术市场经济体制,但从改革开放到如今的发展,我们还是倍感它成长的迅速。其中对其不断形成发展起到至关重要的一次展览是我们不能忘却的,那就是1992年的“广州双年展”。本文试从政治经济背景、艺术家团体(机构)、艺术家等角度论述“广州双年展”形成的特有时代语境与对中国艺术市场形成产生的重要促进作用
