在对含煤岩系沉积学研究历史进行回顾的基础上,论述了含煤岩系层序地层学方法以及海平面变化与聚煤作用的关系。注重强调分布广泛的厚煤层实际上是在基准面或海平面抬升过程中堆积的,煤层底面代表海泛面,以煤层之下的古土壤(根土岩)或沉积间断面为代表的暴露事件则把其下的进积期沉积和其上的海侵期沉积分隔开来。
Based on the review of the history of sedimentary study of coal-bearing rocks, the paper discusses the sequence stratigraphy of coal-bearing rocks and the relationship between sea-level change and coal accumulation. It is emphasized that the widely distributed thick seams are actually accumulated during the rise of the base level or the sea level. The bottom of the coal seam represents the sea surface, and the exposure event is represented by the ancient soil (root rock) or sedimentary interphase below the coal seam The sedimentary deposition beneath it is separated from the transgression sediment on it.
