用磁控电弧炉在氩气气氛中熔炼了Gd3Al2- xGa x( x = 0 ,0-1 ,0-3 ,0-5) 系列合金.通过X射线粉末衍射和振动样品磁强计研究了样品的结构和磁熵.发现样品都是由Zr3Al2 相组成的,且GdAlGa 系列合金的ΔSm 要比Gd3Al2 的大,峰值在室温附近,温区较宽,是一种较好的磁致冷材料.
Gd3Al2- xGa x (x = 0, 0-1, 0-3, 0-5) series alloys were melted using a magnetron arc furnace in an argon atmosphere. The structure and magnetic entropy of the samples were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction and vibrating sample magnetometers. It is found that the samples are composed of Zr3Al2 phase and the ΔSm of GdAlGa alloy is larger than that of Gd3Al2. The peak value is near room temperature and the temperature is wide. It is a good magnetic refrigeration material.
