转喻在人类语言创造的过程和人类交际中发挥着无可替代的作用。基于转喻的最佳关联原则,本研究从认知语用角度分析转喻在新闻语篇中的语义表征及语用功能。归纳了新闻语篇中转喻语义表征的两种类型:旧词新意和新词创造,从而佐证了转喻思维在人类认知结构中比隐喻更具本源性的观点。同时分析了转喻在新闻语篇中的四种语用功能:政治功能、经济省力功能、人际功能和修辞功能,为转喻识解提供了一种推理途径。
Metonymy plays an irreplaceable role in the process of human language creation and human communication. Based on the best association principle of metonymy, this study analyzes the semantic representation and pragmatic functions of metonymy in news discourse from the perspective of cognitive pragmatics. Summarizes the two types of metonymic semantic representation in the news discourse: the old words and the new words, which proves that the metonymic thinking is more original than the metaphor in the cognitive structure of human beings. At the same time, it analyzes four kinds of pragmatic functions of metonymy in news discourse: political function, economical and labor saving function, interpersonal function and rhetorical function, which provide a reasoning way for metonymic understanding.
