当今学术界纷纷标举王国维为学科性小说批评理论的奠基者。其实,梁启超小说理论较早体现了学科建构的自觉意识,已经具有了小说批评的学科性特征。一是首次提出“小说学”一词,并且带头撰写和组织小说专题论文;二是率先引进西方文论术语,并融入传统的批评话语;三是开创西方哲学、心理学、佛学等多学科综合的研究方法。
Nowadays, academia has labeled Wang Guowei as the founder of the critical theory of academic fiction. In fact, Liang Qichao’s novel theory embodies the conscientious consciousness of discipline construction earlier, and already possesses the disciplinary characteristics of novel criticism. First, it proposed for the first time that the term “novel learning” was adopted and took the lead in writing and organizing monographs on the novel; secondly, it took the lead in introducing the terminology of Western literary theory into the traditional critical discourse; thirdly, it started to open up more western philosophy, psychology, and Buddhism Disciplinary synthesis of research methods.
