The Ministry of Metallurgical Industry held its second national conference on continuous casting in Qingdao from 22 to 26 February 1990. Present at the meeting were the Ministry of Metallurgical relevant divisions, bureaus, the State Planning Commission, the Metallurgical Administration of provinces and cities and iron and steel enterprises, research institutions and other representatives of more than 230 people.
