2014年8月3日,云南鲁甸发生6.5级强震。昆明总医院闻令而动,先后派出三批次、共196人的医疗队进入震区,开设野战医院,展开医疗救援、灾后防疫,为地方抗震救灾取得阶段性成效发挥了重要作用。截止8月18日,野战医院全体队员在灾区连续奋战16天,前接震中伤员18名,接诊伤员169名、后(转)送35名、收治86名。依托野战手术车完成手术20台次;依托远程会诊车,为3名重伤员进行“一车三地”远程会诊;空运后送5名重伤员回医院本部救治;巡诊
On August 3, 2014, a magnitude 6.5 earthquake occurred in Ludian, Yunnan Province. Kunming General Hospital heard a move and sent three batches of 196 medical teams into the earthquake zone to set up field hospitals and launch medical rescue and post-quake epidemic prevention. This played an important role in achieving the initial stage of earthquake relief in the region. As of August 18, all field hospital team members fought for 16 consecutive days in the disaster-hit areas, receiving 18 epicenter wounded, 169 receiving wounded and 35 (after transfer), receiving 86. Relying on field operation car to complete the operation of 20 times; relying on the remote consultation car, for 3 seriously injured “one car three places” remote consultation; airborne evacuation 5 seriously injured back to the hospital headquarters treatment;
