浅谈《论崇高》产生的文化背景

在古代西方文学理论中,《论崇高》堪称为一颗明珠,在十七、十八世纪被新古典主义奉为至宝。然而,任何理论的产生,都有其深厚的历史文化原因,而非偶然,《论崇高》也不例外。众所周知,古罗马的学术思想,是在继承古希腊的基础上而发展的。本文拟从该文产生的历史渊源与其时的文化因素两方面入手,简要论述《论崇高》产生的历史文化背景。

In ancient Western literary theory, “On the sublime” called a pearl, in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, Neoclassicism as a treasure. However, any theory has its own historical and cultural causes, rather than by chance, “on the sublime” is no exception. As we all know, the ancient Roman academic thought was developed on the basis of inheriting ancient Greece. This article intends to start from two aspects of the historical origin and the cultural factors of this article, and briefly discusses the historical and cultural background of “sublime”.
