效率与公平的矛盾是社会发展中客观存在的,任何社会要维持和发展,都必须妥善解决这对矛盾。而要解决好这一矛盾,首先必须对这一矛盾的性质有科学的认识,在此基础上,才能找到适合本国国情的解决办法。在我国,经济社会发展已进入小康阶段,效率与公平矛盾的冲突一面,在很大程度上已成为制约经济的持续、快速、健康发展和社会的全面进步的关键因素。因此,如何总结改革开放20年的经验,借鉴发达国家的做法,寻求更为根本的办法以缓解效率与公平的矛盾,乃是理论和实践的重要课题,值得引起理论工作者和决策者的高度重视。
The contradiction between efficiency and fairness is an objective reality in social development. Any society that wants to maintain and develop it must properly resolve these contradictions.
