毛泽东在革命斗争与和平建设中不断丰富党的先进性内涵,科学地论述并实践了党的先进性理论,主要表现在两个方面,一是净化思想,牢记宗旨,确保党员从思想上入党。二是培育作风,践行作风,以精心培育的党的三大优良作风体现党的先进性。毛泽东关于党的先进性的思想对于今天保持共产党员先进性依然具有现实和启迪意义。
