通过对现行立式辗环机主要结构及工作过程的分析，结合理论计算和对现场加工件的实际测试，阐述了现行立式辗环机由于设计原理的谬误，造成精度失控是必然的结果。指出了解决问题的方向。附图4幅，表1个。
