太白山峡谷出口处那条千年流淌的汤峪河,好让我魂牵梦萦.不仅仅因为她流近我的故乡,还因为那里有一所座落在谷口右岸的小小水文站.少年时期,我们曾三五成群步行十几里到这里的‘大塘子”洗温泉澡;我们曾随外祖母、母亲到半山坡的那孔“牛窑”中抚摸石牛以治病;我们稍大一点便随父兄们由此一趟趟进大山,在密林深处割柠条、砍柴禾……每当路过谷口,总会看见河对岸那所简陋的水文站静静地倚在岸边那棵孤独的刺槐下,默默地与汤峪河厮守.父辈们常讲,别小看河对岸那几间普普通通的土瓦房——这可是方圆几十里内唯一的省管单位;别小看常在河边忙碌的那几个人——他们都是吃“皇粮”的国家人.于是,我从儿时起,便对这所单位和这里的人有了敬畏和向往.自打上学、工作进了城市,二十多年中在每日的喧闹中绷紧了神经,便会不时地怀念起那条潺潺不息的汤峪河,也就羡慕起那几位水文人神仙般的生活环境来.只是离别年久,终不得知那座房舍与主人们依然故我还是迁居他乡?春上,省水文局的朋友们怂恿我去变化了的汤峪口看一看.一是采访之需,二是合了我的眷恋之情,我们便欣然成行了.从西安出发,沿高速公路近两个小时的奔驰,便已打通了二十多年的时空阻隔.打开车门,我已置身于那向往已久的所在.
