6月13日,首都几家大报都以显著地位报道了为纪念郭沫若逝世十周年郭沫若铜像落成的消息,有的报纸还刊登了座落在银杏和白皮松中郭沫若铜像的照片,看了令人敬仰。《人民日报》,《光明日报》的消息是自己采写的,《北京日报》用的是新华社的通稿,尽管报道角度有所不同,但有两点是共同的:一是都报道了出席铜像落成的一大串领导人的名单;二是都没说明铜像的作者是谁。无怪一位老雕塑家颇有感触地说:“如今新闻报道重视的还是领导人的名字,而对艺术家的姓名往往是会被忽略的。”
