石棉是镁、铁及部分钙、钢的含水硅酸盐所形成,具有纤维状结构的一类矿物的总称。吸入这类粉尘所引起的尘肺称为石棉肺。接触石棉的主要作业是石棉加工,采矿及选矿。锅炉维修工,建筑材料和电器绝缘材料制造工等,以石棉为原料的行业均可接触石棉。
Asbestos is magnesium, iron and some calcium, steel hydrous silicate formed by the fibrous structure of a group of minerals in general. Pneumoconiosis caused by inhalation of this type of dust is called asbestosis. The main operations that involve asbestos are asbestos processing, mining and beneficiation. Boiler repair workers, construction materials and electrical insulation manufacturing workers, asbestos-asbestos industry can be exposed to asbestos.
