本文是《试论西周青铜器演变的非均衡性问题》的续篇,旨在质疑一种传统的断代理念:即西周青铜器的演化过程是均衡的。由于朝代的更替,政治文化背景的差异,青铜器主人族属的不同,从而造成在同一时期内,青铜器形制、纹饰、铭文的非同步演进,呈现出不同的面貌:某件青铜器从形制看年代似乎比较早,但铭文字形书体已晚,或者铭文字形书体的年代看似尚早,但纹饰则显现出较晚的特征。本文举出大量例证,来说明西周青铜器的演变轨迹是非均衡性的。
This article is a sequel to “On the Imbalance of the Evolution of Bronze Ware in Western Zhou Dynasty”, aiming to question a traditional concept of the dynasty: the evolution of the bronze ware in the Western Zhou Dynasty was balanced. Due to the change of dynasties, the differences of political and cultural backgrounds and the differences of bronze masters, the unsynchronized evolution of bronze shapes, motifs and inscriptions during the same period showed different appearances. Earlier, but Ming inscriptions calligraphy is too late, or inscriptions calligraphy age appears to be too early, but the ornamentation is showing a later feature. This article gives a large number of examples to illustrate the evolution of the Western Zhou bronze trajectory is not balanced.
