稻田养殖要获得好效益,就必须解决好水稻病虫害防治的用药问题。在使用农药时,必须选对农药。不同农药对鱼类具有不同的毒害,不能简单地以农药对人畜的毒性来推测其对鱼类毒牲的大小。同一种农药对不同鱼类的毒性也不尽相同。如甲壳类(虾、蟹等)、淡水白鲳及某些鲈形目鱼类(鳜鱼、加州鲈等)对有机磷农药特别敏感,在稻田中养这些品种时,就不能使用敌百虫、敌敌畏等有机磷农药;而四大家鱼对这类农药的耐受性则相对较强。
