In 1988, we investigated the contents of lead and cadmium in milk of 111 healthy women in Shenyang City. Samples were collected from mature milk from healthy women in the urban area without occupational lead exposure (from 1 month postpartum to 23 months). Sampling strictly prevent the operation of the pollution, all equipment with nitric acid and deionized water treatment, according to the conventional method of operation by hand.
