The Great Depression, so troubling by now, has become a hot spot of attention of all academic circles, especially economists, despite the fact that it has lasted for 80 years. Surprisingly, Herbert Clark Hoover, optimistic about the U.S. catastrophe, even came a few weeks before the disaster, at the dawn of the ups and downs of the New York stock market in October 1929 Speaking: “We are making a decisive eve on the war on poverty, slums will disappear from the United States.” However, in fact, from 1929 to 1933, the global economy experienced a rapid economic downturn. This earth-shattering catastrophe destroys the hopes of all in one fell swoop: the world economy and society can no longer return to the good old days of the early twentieth century.
