Speaking of the first “sip” of alcohol， Zhang Ming， who lives in Hebei Province of China， smiled awkwardly， “It was from the tip of chopstick. Can you believe it？”
In his memory， when it came to the festivals， especially the spring festival， families got together， and “have several cups” is the tradition of the father generation. Although families and relatives didn’t recite poetries along with the drinking， but drinking games were necessary. When they had fun， his father would hold him in arms， and “he would dip one of his chopsticks in his cup， and put the chopstick in my mouth so that I can lick the alcohol. It was very very spicy.” He frowned as if he was back to the memory. In that year， he was five years’ old.
说起自己的“第一口”酒，家住中国河北省的张明尴尬地笑了，“来自筷子尖，你信吗？”
在他的印象中，逢年过节，特别是春节，一大家子团聚时，“喝两盅”是父辈的惯例，邻里乡亲虽然没有“酒逢知己千杯少”的吟诗作对，但行酒令确是必不可少的。往往兴致高涨时，在一旁观看的他就会被父亲疼爱地抱起，“这时，父亲就会拿起他的筷子蘸蘸自己酒杯里的酒，然后把筷子放在我嘴里，让我舔舔，那味道很辣、很辣。”他皱皱眉头，仿佛一下又掉回到了记忆中。那年，他5岁。
“Who says girls cannot drink？” said Hong Xin， who was standing in front of the reporter and raised her head from her cellphone， “When my friends and me go to KTV， we would buy some cans of beer. We raise our cups to ‘cheers’ when we have a really good time. It’s fancy.” In Hong Xin’s mind， every time when it’s her friends’ birthdays， when they fell in love， or when they broke up， they all went to KTV for the occasions. “Why they treat us as kid. We are kind of adults and my Mom cannot care so much.” Her 15-year-old face was covered with obstinacy， and she buried her face in her cellphone again after said that.
Li Bo， who lives in Shandong Province， started to talk proudly about his experience in the summer vacation when he was asked the question about alcohol. “I spent all my summer vacation drinking.” Li Bo comes from a rich family and he is now enrolled in a key senior high school of the city. When he graduated from the middle school， his families prepared many banquets， including a farewell banquet， a graduation dinner， and a bound feast. “After all， me going to the key senior high school gains face for my father and mother， and my friends and me can use the chances to ‘drink drank drunk’.” He posed a “cheers” gesture for the reporter.
When the reporter asked them “whether they have been drunk before”， Zhang Ming and Li Bo were shocked and said， “Is it normal to get drunk？” Hong Xin laughed and said， “My boyfriend would send me home if I’m drunk. I got no worries. The most important thing about party is having fun. We are supposed to have fun drinking. Is it what they said on TV series and movies？” she stressed again “having fun”.
“谁说女孩子不能喝酒？”站在记者面前的洪芯，扬起埋在手机里的头，“我们小姐妹们去KTV唱歌时会买几听啤酒。唱到high时大家一起举杯cheers，多洋气。”而在洪芯的脑海里，哪个姐妹过生日了、哪个姐妹恋爱了、哪个姐妹失恋了，她们都会一起去KTV应景式的唱歌。“凭什么把我们当孩子，我们也算大人啊，我妈也管不了那么多”，她那15岁稚气的脸上满是倔强，说完她又低头玩起了手机。
而家住山东省青岛市的李博，一提到“酒”，却颇得意地向记者说起了自己暑假的经历，“整个暑假我都是在哈（当地方言，意为喝酒）起来中度过的。”现在在市属重点高中读书的李博，家境富裕，初中毕业时，家人为他准备了一场场宴请，有告别宴、谢师宴、升学宴等，“毕竟我上了重点学校是件有面子的事，父母乐得其所，我和我的好哥们也可以借此‘千杯不醉’”。他在记者面前摆了个“举杯”的手势。
而面对记者提出“有没有喝醉经历”的问题，无论是张明，还是李博，都惊诧地表示，“喝醉不是很正常的吗？”洪芯则抬头哈哈一笑，“喝醉了有男朋友直接送回家，用不着自己操心，Party最重要的当然是喝得尽兴。要喝得尽兴，电视剧、电影里不都这么说吗？”她特意又强调了一次“尽兴”。
