一、问题的提出 1982年上半年,北京广播电视大学邀我在北京电视台为北京市中学数学进修教师主讲集合论逻辑代数课程,为联系中学数学教材,我阅读了中学数学统编教材的有关部分。发现其中有些问题,需要提出来与有关方面进行讨论,“什么是命题”就是其中之一。什么是命题?初中课本与高中课本作了不同的回答,一个说它是某种句子,一个说它是某种语言。具体地说全日制十年制学校初中数学课本第三册第43页(或全日制十年制初中数学课本几何第一册第43页)是这样回答的。前面我们讲过:“‘两点决定一直线’、‘经过直线外的一点,有且只有一条直线和这条直线平行’、‘两条直线被第三条直线所截,如果
