随着国民经济的发展和人民生活的提高,棉花的需要量已在日益增加,因此大力增产棉花,是目前也是长期的农业生产上的重要任务之一。在棉花增产成败上,防治病虫害是一个关键问题,目前在棉虫方面,已经有了一些有效的防治办法,而在棉病方面,是一般非专业干部在识别上尚有困难,因此很难“对症下药”。现在正是棉苗开始出土时期,笔者仅将几种最重要且发生最普遍的棉花病害,取其病徵上的识别要点分别写出,以供从事研究棉花工作者参考,为今后开展防治工作做一准备。(病征形状,请参阅封面里页图版)
