The IUMRS Executive Committee is composed of the president, first vice chairman, second vice chairman, secretary, treasurer and former chairman of the IAEA. The chairman presides over meetings of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee and performs all the duties normally associated with the director of the Federation. When the chairman is absent, the first vice chairman fulfills these duties. All staff members serve a term of two years, with the first vice-chairman serving in office
